  • Co-Founder and Administrative Director, Coalition for Improving Maternity Services (CIMS), 1996-1998. Organized the first-ever "Childbirth Congress," a gathering of board members and senior staff from more than 50 maternal/child health organizations, resulting in the creation of the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative.Skilled financial manager. Throughout association career, met or exceeded budget goals for combined budgets as large as $20 million, ending each year under budget while meeting established objectives.
